Wyandotte County was incorporated in 1859 is the smallest county in the State of Kansas with 155.7 square miles, was made up from parts of Leavenworth and Johnson Counties.  In 1886, the cities of Wyandot, Armourdale, Armstrong and Kansas City, Kansas joined together to make one city called Kansas City, Kansas.  
 
Kansas City, KS est. Jul 04 population of 145,004 .  Edwardsville est. Jul 04 population of 4,495. Bonner Springs with an est. July 04 population of 6,892 are the other two cities that make up Wyandotte County.
